Your tasks
- The system engineer in the software sector works primarily in the area of data backup. To do this, he controls all software applications.
- Ensuring the smooth operation, support and SLAs of our hybrid IT data center infrastructure with a focus on backup.
- Administration of data protection platforms based on EMC Networker and Commvault Simpana
- Installation, maintenance and monitoring of the hardware and applications used
- Implementation of release and version changes as well as automation and performance tuning
- You will make a valuable contribution to the continuous increase in the degree of automation of backup and recovery processes
- Collaboration in exciting and innovative IT projects
Your profile
- Successfully completed training as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of operating data protection platforms and ideally at least one of the following solutions: EMC Networker or Commvault Simpana
- Programming knowledge, preferably in the area of Shell, Perl or PHP is an advantage
- We require extensive experience in at least one operating system such as Windows, Linux or Unix
- You have an enthusiasm for innovative technologies
- Communication skills, an independent and goal-oriented way of working as well as good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
